A painting about a chick who rules her life and daily embraces her inner QUEEN

Once upon a time, well before she even dreamed of being a Queen and having any ruling over her life she was part of a very humble family. While her parents worked hard, there was a lot of stresses, a lot of illness, interest rates were high, and at the end of the week there was very little left over for shiny sparkly pretty things let alone cream buns or new clothes. She always felt like the poor kid at school with the bomb of a car, hand me down clothes, shoes that barely fitted, and the same shortbread biscuits for little lunch every day. She dreaded being invited to parties because she knew her present to her friend would be pitiful. From a distance she observed her friends and peers at school who seemed to have new toys every week, they had the yummiest home cooked food, they went on holidays, they had the latest running shoes, and their parents drove nice cars. Their houses even had swimming pools.

Fast forward 20 years and this QUEEN feels even more humbled that she lives in a beautiful castle surrounded by beautiful gardens, there is always food and to spare, and she drives a nice car that rarely (never breaks down). She has more clothes than she can ever wear in a lifetime. When she wants something she buys it. She can afford hobbies that aren’t cheap. Her gifts to others are most generous. She doesn’t live from pay check to pay check. She has enjoyed extravagant holidays, decadent meals, and wears the latest fashion. She really feels that she is blessed in her abundance in life.

She also enjoys an abundance of love, and abundance of laughter, and and abundance of hope for her future.
