Artwork Description

I visited a second hand shop in Port Elliot, South Australia. While I was chatting to the owner, he called out “lunch time” and all of a sudden, a whole flock of magpies came flying from all directions and landed on the grass waiting for him to throw them food. It was chaos! Some were getting annoyed with each other, while others were squawking and flapping their wings. Then I noticed there were more magpies sitting on the roof of the shop waiting for their turn to eat. I’d never seen so many magpies in one place.

Artist Bio

Thank you for taking the time to look at my artwork.

I am an Adelaide based artist and have been painting since 2017. I specialise in acrylic paint. I have undertaken art courses and continue to attend various art workshops broadening my knowledge about different subject matters and painting techniques. I have also participated in various art exhibitions over the years.

My style is realism as I prefer to paint from my own reference photos, particularly of animals and landscapes. I take great pride in my work and spend many hours trying to make my artwork look as realistic as possible. Occasionally, I will paint in an abstract style if my paint brush takes me there.

I am passionate about painting and couldn’t imagine my life without it. With all the stress, uncertainty and craziness of life, I hope my paintings bring happiness to those who see them.
