Artist Bio

Born in England, Natalie moved to Australia at the age of ten but has always maintained a strong connection to the UK. Living in the UK periodically with her British husband has only strengthened those ties. She now works from her home studio in North Brisbane, where she lives with her husband, teenage daughter, and their much-loved cats and dogs.

Natalie has been creating a diverse range of paintings for over 25 years, with her works held in private collections across Spain, the UK, and Australia.

In recent years, she has gradually transitioned to working primarily in watercolour. She has discovered how naturally her style lends itself to the medium’s soft, impressionistic qualities. Natalie has always loved losing herself in the small details of a painting, and she finds that watercolour, though challenging, beautifully enhances this aspect of her work. Being a big animal lover, she often paints birds and other animals, capturing their character and spirit. She strives to improve at all times and continues to develop her style. If you would like your very own Fairy Wren or another bird, animal or flower. Natalie is available for commissions.
