Artwork Description

Rocky Road is a small and powerful piece. The warm, expressive rocks against the cool coastal light create a dynamic yet comforting scene, echoing the moments we revisit year after year: the same shoreline, the same view, the same quiet sense of belonging. Collectors often connect with works that evoke these shared experiences, and Rocky Road Mini offers a vivid reminder of the places we return to and the memories that anchor us.. With its expressive layers of colour and bold brush strokes it will be a focal point in any small nook of your home, or the perfect addition to your eclectic hanging.

Artist Bio

As a glass half full kind of person, Natasha naturally gravitates toward compositions filled with beauty and playful energy. Her paintings echo a long-standing love affair with the ocean. During her childhood she lived with her family on a large wheat and sheep property in rural Wester Australia and their annual beach holiday was a cherished tradition—memories that now come to life through her beachscape paintings.

Beyond nostalgia, Natasha's work highlights the power of community and shared experience. By capturing moments in time, she invites viewers to reflect on their own treasured memories, forging connections through storytelling.

Natasha moved to the city to complete a Bachelor of Visual Arts and Graduate Diploma in Education, building a career that fosters creativity in young people. Teaching and volunteering in schools—painting sets and murals—led her to repurpose household acrylics onto birch wooden panels. Sustainability is central to her practice—not just through materials, but in themes of environmental awareness and participation.
