I am a West Australian artist based in the Perth Hills. As a new mother I spend my time with my daughter, working as a High school Art and Design teacher and drawing and painting in my home studio located in Perth Hills.
I completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts at Curtin University in 2012 with specialist knowledge in painting, drawing and photography. In 2018 I also completed my Diploma of Interior Design from Billy Blue College of Design which has further developed my decorative approach to painting and fascination with colour and colour theory.
My works are inspired by the natural environments around me and places I have travelled. Whilst focusing on intensely painted or drawn wildlife, my works often integrate two dimensional backdrops with a playful approach with layering and thin washes to create a sense of perspective and the mystical.
