This Gothic sea shell, was inspired by a Sea shell I found next to Pelicans Nautical Cafe in the Redlands. I initiated a series of silkscreens of the shell in a more realistic style, but I felt compelled to paint it! It's evolved over time, to its now Gothic, death inbracing self! I was quietly amused by this evolution, I find it quite beautiful in and of itself. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!!!
