Artwork Description

I love the Australian Bush - from the gracefully swaying Sassafras in Sherbrooke to the fresh scent of Gumtrees in the Dandenongs, each time I walk through these woods, I leave a piece of me, and bring a sliver of it with me.
In this vibrant piece, "Whispers of the Dandenong Ranges," the artist captures the serene beauty and dynamic energy of an Australian forest. Inspired by countless walks through the majestic trees of the Dandenong Ranges, this artwork intertwines impressionistic and abstract elements to evoke the essence of nature’s tranquility and vitality.
This piece is a celebration of the artist's surroundings, inviting you to experience the peaceful whispers of the forest and the timeless beauty of the Australian landscape.

Artist Bio

I am a hobby artist, living in leafy eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria. My artwork is a blend of impressionist and abstract ideas with various mediums and paints.

My artwork is influenced by what I see and experience around me. I love the smells and sounds of the ocean, especially in the twilight hours and the freshness of the Australian Bush. I often find my mind wandering back to my walks in the Dandenong Ranges, Great Ocean Road and the Mornington Peninsula.

Without committing to a single style of painting, I just like to go with the mood of the day, drawing inspiration from my life’s experiences , and I hope they speak to you like they do to me!

Sharing my love of creating beautiful things with my community is a passion, and it gives me great joy to know my creations live on, adorning other people’s living spaces. It makes me feel like I am always connected to the world!

I am delighted to offer my art to patrons who appreciate original works from a local Melbourne artist. Additionally, I occasionally accept commissions, so if you have something specific in mind, I would love to bring your vision to life.
