Grey and Gold
When I run after what I think I want, my days are a furnace of stress and anxiety; if I sit in my own place of patience, what I need flows to me, and without pain. From this I understand that what I want also wants me, is looking for me and attracting me. There is a great secret here for anyone who can grasp it. ― Rumi
In this piece, the grey and white represent the ambitions of life for the future and it may sound a little like this: going to work, taking orders, preparing kids for their day, sitting on a train, rushing, stressing and it repeats itself every day. It can be dull, tedious and is repetitive. The golden pieces however represent my heart and my soul. With patience I seek within, I find peace and exhilaration. There is an attraction within and the search fills my heart with ecstasy.
