I have been painting for over 30 years; studying art at school, a few private lessons, and then completing a degree in graphic design. I worked in advertising for 7 years before devoting more time to my art work.
My main interest is in landscape and color, as well as abstract design and experimentation. I have worked in oils, acrylic and water color, gouache and ink.
I have sold a lot of my work through commission, word of mouth, on the Internet and at art shows. I won first place in our local show art section.
I am inspired by the variety of color and texture in the Australian landscape, from the burnt oranges and reds of the outback, to the myriad cool colors of our southern rain forests.
