Artwork Description

This work is inspired by the Forum Theatre in Melbourne. Built in the 1920s, the architecture of this building reveals Islamic and Gothic influences. The clock tower features a copper dome, spires, beautifully wrought clock faces and intricate Islamic patterning.
The whole building is a marvel with many surprising features including gargoyles and monsters, arched windows with intricately carved screens, towers and domes.
