Artwork Description

This work is inspired by the little New Holland honeyeaters that come to sip the nectar of the almond blossoms on the old almond tree that I can see from my kitchen window. The gold background is inspired by the gold backgrounds featured in Chinese paintings of bird life.
This work would lift any room because of the colours used and the naturalistic subject matter.
