Venetia's Gaze

This portrait captures the enigmatic allure of Venetia Stanley, a prominent British socialite during the tumultuous years of the First World War. This work was inspired whilst reading Precipice by Robert Harris, in which history and fiction blend to create a sense of drama and depth that parallels Venetia's mysterious figure.
