Artwork Description

Acrylic on canvas

Signed on the back.

Minyma pirni (many women) are travelling from rockhole to rockhole. Nerida's mother grew up on the country around Tjukurla and she knows the flora and fauna intimately. There are many nutritious things to eat, but it takes all day to collect them. The women make damper for the children before the men come back with a kangaroo or bush turkey.
