This beautiful autumn toned transparent watercolour has been painted on 300 gsm 100% cotton paper and custom framed behind glass, in a brushed finish pewter coloured timber frame 2 cm wide with a bevelled inner edge. This work is original and in the style of negative painting, where numerous transparent washes are applied carefully to create dimension. There is a mysterious and calming quality to this painting and it is one of my favourite negative painting pieces. This is a unique and quality piece of artwork beautifully presented. Viewers will want to look endlessly for hidden spaces and intrigue.
