Colour of the Year

Using the various peachy tones, I wanted to create a thought inflicting piece. I want the viewer to look deeply into the abstract background, noticing the large illustrations.

These illustrations are representations of our climate issues, with a palm tree situated behind a snow tiger, this is a clear juxtaposition.

Within the work is an illustration of a couple of peaches, with "colour of the year" written discretely above. There is in fact no real peach fuzz colour on this piece, which is Pantone's colour of the year 2024. This is a reference to influence on our personas. We are all easily influence to believe what is in front of us, but we rarely take a minute to reflect on what might be happening behind the scenes of our influencers.
