A rare technique where instead of drawing on, you scrape off with a fine pointed tool.
I get totally absorbed in doing really detailed work.

Here I have used a Silver base with a black ink layer that is scratched off to reveal the silver beneath.
The matt black creates a striking contrast with the shiny shiny silver.

Every scraperboard is a one off original showing each scrape mark.
