For some time now, I have wanted to paint the mighty marlin, with every line in their design echoing speed. That is why I contacted the superb marlin photographer, Kelly Dalling Fallon, and in this painting I reference her black marlin photographs. She has been most kind in explaining to me their visual characteristics. The trevally references I photographed on the Gold Coast.
