‘Paris Roof-scape in Orange and Blue'. Buildings in the foreground are the focal point of this composition and dominate the scene. The viewers eye's continue into the background of more Parisian roof tops. A composition with complementary colours of orange and blue.
I was born in Adelaide, South Australia, worked as an art teacher and artist in Victoria and South Australia after completing my B.A. in Secondary Art Teaching in 1982 and B.A. in Design in at the University of South Australia in 1988. I am inspired by my travels overseas to Paris, France and The Netherlands as well as my local coastal community. I enjoy painting in oil paints to create a textural effect with paint brushes and also use acrylic paint.
