This painting was done viewing a passing ship from Kings Beach Headland it captures pink and tonal sky in winter time just as that last light before dark.
There is rocks from the headland in the foreground and pandanus cropped off to the right just as the ship comes into view I love the crisp horizon where the pink and blue connect in contrast.
