Artwork Description

A visual reimagination of the natural world, “Chromatic Canopy” captures the unexpected beauty of altered foliage. Through a unique photographic process, each image transforms green leaves into vivid hues of crimson, rose, and scarlet—set against surreal, cyan-toned skies. This exclusive collection invites the viewer to see familiar landscapes through a lens of spectral wonder.

Each work is meticulously printed on Canson Infinity Photographique Rag, a 100% cotton museum-grade paper prized for its smooth texture, deep tonal range, and exceptional archival quality. This fine art paper enhances the richness and subtlety of the transformed colours, making it the ideal medium to honour the vision of the series.

Strictly limited to just 10 editions per work.

Our lifestyle mockups are designed to showcase how the artwork may look in a home or office setting and may not represent the exact scale. Artist Bio

Nick Psomiadis was born in 1968 in Melbourne, Australia to Greek parents who migrated to the country in the mid-sixties. He received his education from a Technical School, renowned for its comprehensive curriculum integrating both academic and practical skills. This solid foundation paved the way for his successful career in jewelry making, which spanned nearly two decades starting in 1986. Additionally, he indulged in his love for photography, which he pursued as a hobby and pastime.

In 2011, Nick made a life-changing decision to follow his passion for photography, leaving behind a fulfilling profession. He furthered his education, completing a course of studies that encompassed both theory and practical training, and was conferred with a "Diploma of Photography." However, he quickly realized that turning his passion into a profession would require immense effort and dedication.

Establishing a home studio, Nick laid the foundation for his art, which he created and exhibited for a decade. In the winter of 2021, he achieved a significant milestone by purchasing a studio and gallery space in Melbourne, departing from his modest home studio. Nick currently produces photographic fine art, prints, and displays his works under the name N I K A R T Studio & Gallery, 7/20 Ponting Street Williamstown, Vic 3016.

Nick draws inspiration from both the natural landscape and the built environment, patiently waiting for the perfect moment to capture an ephemeral moment in time.
