Alighting the Shores

A city view from the depths of the ocean. The buildings are non descriptive structures looming from the coastal shores, contrasting with the serene depths of the ocean ...... movement within. In this piece I have used a thickener to enable the buildings to rise from the canvas. Their earthy washed tones developed from ground coffee beans, stand behind the breaking waves and still sea from where they are formed....where would you rather be?
