Painted from the surfers' perspective, this work focuses on the emotive feeling generated by the surging foam gathered on the surface and sand swell beneath the wave, while looking beyond to the landmark known as 'Watonga Rocks'. The detailed work of the houses that line the beach known as Lighthouse Beach in Port Macquarie NSW, draw the viewer in for a closer look. A drone was used to source the reference material for this piece.
This one-off original artwork was painted with high quality Langridge Professional Artists' Oil (handmade in Melbourne) on premium stretched deep edge cotton duck canvas. It is finished with Windsor & Newton Gloss varnish for UV protection and longevity. A collectors authenticity certificate is included for valuation & insurance purposes.
