While not originally part of the 'Gilded Wildflowers' collection it takes the same inspiration. I paint wildflowers(some call weeds) and treat them as if they were roses, and tulips and frame them in gold. This work was created during my Artist's Residency in Cygnet at Balfour House.
There is nothing like a daisy to make me smile, they just look so happy. These came up between the house and the concrete and I took great joy in taking photos every day as they opened and evolved.
* This work is framed in lightweight aluminium with a gold finish.
** This work is ready to hang, with a single hanging clip (refer to image)
*** This work is signed on the front of the canvas, on the back of the board and the back of the frame.
