Abstract Landscape (Wollemi)

The tree depicted is the famous Australian Wollemi. This species has been traced back to the age of the Dinasaurs! I am fascinated by its beauty, tenacity and history. The style of the painting isis soft with blurred edges and combines abstraction and realism.
The lush oil paint adds to a richness and allows the smooth blending of different colours and shapes.
