Artwork Description

An original oil painting displaying the beautiful light, reflections and the wonderful views of our Australian bush.

Price includes professional framing using 5cm deep solid oak contemporary frame,

This artwork was inspired by the morning light hitting the port hacking river while standing at Reids flat in Audley Village in the Royal National Park, in the Sutherland Shire. One is surrounded by gum trees on the banks of the river and this can be seen by the leaves coming in to view the top of the painting.

It is a colourful relaxed artwork and the tranquil scene evokes peace and calm. I am captivated by and love painting our incredible Australian bush.

I am a professional oil painter and I have been painting the Australian landscape for 30 years.

I use only the highest quality materials. Paints and medium’s are by Gamblin, Langridge and Art Spectrum. Canvas and frame hand built by The Sydney Art Store. The frame is identical to the one shown in the image showing a frame). The canvas is 100% polyester, which is a much stronger and superior surface and cotton camera.

Of particular interest to me, is the use of colour, light and movement in our unique Australian landscape. ‘
