Artwork Description

The Australian bush, beside a river (in this case Woronora River) is something to behold. The colours, the shapes, so beautiful. This Interesting rock feature is called ‘jockeys cap and it is a well loved jumping/swimming location with the locals.
Oil on hand made stretched polyester canvas. It is stretched by me.

Painting is painted around the edges of the canvas and framing is not essential though you may choose to get it framed. The is a strong across the back. If you would like me to organise to have it framed, for you, I am will to do that. Just let me know and I will frame and relist artwork. Frame will be natural oak like the sample shown in photos.

“I am predominantly a landscape oil painter, enjoying bush and coastal scenes. My landscapes are influenced by many past and present Australian landscape artists, as well as the impressionist and post-impressionist movements.. Of particular interest to me, is the use of colour, light and movement in our unique Australian landscape. ‘
