Hello, my name is Nicole Steensen. I am an abstract artist living in the beautiful Moreton Bay region of Queensland.
Painting is my passion and also my soul’s therapy.
I find the greatest peace and balance when I am inspired to create my beautiful artworks.
I truly love every painting that I create. I love the colours, the flow and the satisfaction of making something beautiful for someone to enjoy and be uplifted by.
I choose to live a simple and quiet life, with my beautiful family close by. This allows me to find equilibrium in this very chaotic world and as I get older I know that this is the only way that I can be.
Recently, I have decided to start putting my artwork on the Internet so that more people are able to see my pieces.
Technology simply isn’t my thing! I am grateful for Blue Thumb Gallery, as this site allows me to use the benefits of technology, of which I know very little about.
I believe that all artworks have an energy that resonates from them.
I create my paintings with great joy and peace in my heart, and I believe that the artwork carries within it this essence; allowing the painting to fill any room with this peace and
joyfulness.
I am inspired by the feelings that flow through me. I have visions of what I want to create and I know that each painting will find its perfect home.
My pieces are quite large and make a big impact on any room, expressing the personalities of the people who own them.
These artworks are ‘statement’ pieces and people are mesmerised by the intricacies in my designs.
Thank you for viewing my paintings and taking the time to learn a little bit about me.
