I met with Jared Waerea - Hargreaves in a studio and all he had was his jersey so after a few typical portrait poses he suddenly grabs a broom and starts to do the haka, much to my delight and of course these made the best images for the painting. Once we were finished he showed his appreciation to me in gifting me his jersey. What a nice guy ! The frame is hand carved by a maori carver to match Jareds tattoos. Artwork measurements including frame is 110mm x 131mm and has a clear lacquer finish
