My Name is Nikki Metzeling, a local artist living in Forbes NSW and have been painting since I was a child finding enjoyment in painting flora and fauna. I'm a mum of three children and a wife to a teacher. I have three beautiful aged 17,11 and 6 and enjoy spending as much time as I can with them when I'm not painting. I love painting flora and fauna, however I also enjoy painting landscapes and abstracts. I'm inspired by colour, especially in nature. I believe that Australia has an abundance of natural beauty in its flora and fauna and it allows be to explore its colours and textures through my painting. The natural beauty of my surrounds inspires me to want to bring to life natures beauty onto my canvases which then allows me to share my love of colour and nature with others. Knowing that people are enjoying my art and that my art is bringing happiness to people also inspires me to share my passion for art with others.
