Brisbane-based artist Nikki Taylor, living in the Redlands Coast Queensland, she is inspired with the views of the Bay, she creates art from her studio.

She hails from an artistic and inventive minded family and has a strong urge to create art deep with in her, this being a life long focus. Nikki developed an early passion for art inspired through her Grandmother’s teachings of china and porcelain paintings.

In her artistic process, she utilises different mediums to deliver diversity into the artwork, using expressive brushstrokes, the result is a vibrant, uplifting and eclectic style. Familiar forms, yet captivating by their abstraction, create a sense of depth and intrigue in her works.

Her process starts with taking photographs of nature, foliage and in that landscape, catching movement, tones and tree-inspired structured branch forms. It's from then her imaginative insights with an instinctive sense of the final vision, she begins to add form to her work. She evolves her vision directly to canvas or paper, often working instinctively with energy and thoughts in mind to transform the desired images where finer details follow.

Nikki has exhibited her art locally, and interstate, is a member of creative art societies and is a successful exhibitor. She brings a fresh look, an engaging and unique style to her artworks, which are sure to please the discerning eye.
