Artwork Description

This work is a digitally altered photograph taken in the studio during a photographic shoot for a new body of work 'From One Extreme'. It is a physical response to an emotional and existential state. I am exploring the experience of feeling constrained, contained. This constrained can come from many places, society, those near and dear to us, our own selves. This is a psychological portrait and has been abstracted by removing the torso hence fragmenting and abstracting the body. The situational context has been removed so that the viewer can bring their own narrative to the work.
This work can be printed in different sizes and prices upon discussion with the artist.

She creates moving image works and photography at times combining these with digital collage, painting and photographic manipulation.
