Artwork Description

A young woman on the edge of womanhood. Becoming aware of the power and beauty of youth she feels immortal. Still dressing up she wears the petticoat of the woman she will become as a cape or dress.. This work is a digitally altered photograph which I have manipulated order to heighten the ambiguity of the image. I have removed the narrative context utilising the black background so that the viewer can bring their own interpretation and story to the work.
The dimensions can be altered through discussion between purchaser and artist.
