Artwork Description

Inspired by the distinctive timber-framed architecture of Germany’s historic towns, this minimalist abstract artwork captures the rhythm, geometry, and structural beauty of Fachwerk—the traditional architectural style seen in a Fachwerkhaus.

Drawing on the intersecting lines and geometric patterns of these timeless structures, the artwork translates architectural heritage into a bold, contemporary expression. Reduced to two contrasting colours—black lines against a crisp white background—it embraces simplicity while creating a striking visual presence.

Minimal yet powerful, this piece celebrates the beauty of structure, balance, and form. Its clean lines and strong contrasts make it a distinctive statement artwork, bringing architectural character and understated sophistication to any interior.
