Nina Ryan obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art Painting from RMIT achieving a distinction in all subjects. Since 1990 she has exhibited annually and been short listed in a number of prizes including the Castlemaine Regional Art Prize in Portraiture in 2003 and the Rick Amore Self Portrait Prize in 2017 and others.
Her paintings are included in a number of collections - Art Bank, Western Mining, Maroondah City Council, St Vincent’s, Cabrini, Epworth Hospitals and The Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre as well as in private collections in Australia and Oversees.
