Artwork Description

A hand-drawn Madhubani painting featuring six intricately detailed fish arranged in a circular pattern around a central floral motif. In Mithila art, fish symbolize prosperity and good fortune. Created using traditional fine linework and natural colors, the artwork highlights the beauty of Indian folk art. Professionally framed in a black frame and ready to hang, making it a unique cultural wall décor piece.

Artist Bio

I am an India‑born, Melbourne‑based artist specializing in folk painting, a traditional art form from India known for its intricate patterns, bold colours and nature‑inspired symbolism. My work blends age‑old motifs of birds, flora, goddesses and everyday life with contemporary colour palettes.

Every piece is hand‑painted using fine linework and detailed borders, and I consciously leave no empty space in the composition to honour the aesthetic of abundance and celebration. I create small originals through to statement works on paper and canvas, all professionally finished and ready to hang.
