"Archery Painting” started as a way to amuse my boys to get them out of their rooms and away from Playstation and YouTube. The novelty wore off quickly for them but the idea of creating something different and unique kept me going. I started experimenting with new methods and techniques even finding out that size of the balloons can affect the way the paints splatter across the canvas. I’m still learning new ways to push the boundaries and experiment on other ways to perfect my new found skill.
I have been a professional cake artist for over 25 years with thousands of sculpted and painted cakes under my belt. Just recently i got into clay sculpture, spending my weekends doing classes at the Sydney Sculpture School in Gladesville honing on some new skills but hyperrealistic portrait drawing is my go to hobby when inspired and if time allows me to be creative. I have 3 great boys and my beautiful loving and supportive wife that i share a hectic lifestyle with.
