This piece is painted with layers to create texture. Crackle texture has been used and encouraged. Wide sweeps of the palette knife have been used. It is expressive and emotional, following the wide sweeps of the body in it's creation. A little has been left to chance and the result is breathtaking.

Influenced by the great tradition of Australian landscape artist and the work of John Constable and William Turner and their study of the sky.

The sides are painted in a wrap around style which makes framing optional. Ready to hang.

Olga's style varies from realism to abstraction. Her paint application is like handwriting, bold and confident. Each piece is a journey. She asks questions of herself and the viewer. The work delves into spaces that you forgot about, it clutches your heart just so that it can simply caress it and then carefully release it back to you. Olga is searching for a connection with her audience.
With degrees in Visual Art and Education, Olga continues to hone her skills with her prolific output. She is an active member of several art societies and exhibits widely.
Olga's work is held in private collections throughout Australia and in the USA.
