Mitochondria is an abstract piece that is based on the uncertain nature of our lives. It looks beneath the skin of our existence. The initial shapes were created through a random process of laying down thin layers of coloured varnish. Then shapes were meticulously picked out and painted to create the upper layers, It is a piece that can be meditated upon much like cloud watching. Everyone will find different meaning in the created shapes.

Olga's style varies from realism to abstraction. Her paint application is like handwriting, bold and confident. Each piece is a journey. She asks questions of herself and the viewer. The work delves into spaces that you forgot about, it clutches your heart just so that it can simply caress it and then carefully release it back to you. Olga is searching for a connection with her audience.
With degrees in Visual Art and Education, Olga continues to hone her skills with her prolific output. She is an active member of several art societies and exhibits widely.
Olga's work is held in private collections throughout Australia and in the USA.
