Original Artwork's Description

Lilies after Monet by Olga Dziemidowicz are sold as a pair. These paintings are inspired by one of the most amazing painters, is a tribute to Claude Monet. My art has been influenced by the Impressionists since I can remember. As a child, I used to read about Monet and his contemporaries.

I wanted to channel my inner Monet and paint a lily pond like he once did. I found the process meditative, there's something familiar and mystical about the work. A shimmering like on some of Monet's works.

The works can be hung as shown (recommended) or next to each other.

Artist Bio

Olga Dziemidowicz is a contemporary artist based in Melbourne although she sells her work to collectors nationwide, as well as abroad. The artwork she creates is dynamic, vibrant, and optimistic. Her art style resembles the style of impressionists, post-impressionists, and abstract expressionists (like Monet, Van Gogh, and Willem de Kooning)

She paints both realistic, as well as abstract paintings, often using bold colours to express life, vibrancy, and the energy of the world around us. Each piece, guided by intuition, emerges from a process of adding and subtracting paint using different mediums.

The subjects of her work include landscapes, portraits, expressive abstracts, and more. Olga's art will resonate with interior designers, private collectors, people looking for a statement piece for their home, and art lovers alike.

Having started her career as an architect, after a few years she realised that it's not her path. In late 2018 she realised that painting and art have always been her true passion so she decided to commit to painting and art wholeheartedly because life is too short not to do what you love!

Feel free to follow her on social media and follow her art journey to inspire your own.
