This painting was one of the first paintings I did upon moving into a studio following my degree. I found it hard to get back into the swing of things, and not needing to meet deadlines. I approached this piece loosely and it developed from a charcoal layer to applying oil paint on the upper surface.
Please note depending on the lighting, this painting may appear darker. Both photographs were taken outside in natural light.
