Artwork Description

Black on White, Flower of Life.

The intricate part of the flower of Life, not always in bloom, not always pretty, yet forever growing.
I sit with my "Flower of Life" and she shows me sadness, grief, loss, hope, faith and love. She shows me where I have rejected myself, where I shame myself, where I self sabotage because I still don't trust that she will be able to bloom and come back to life, as she has felt pruned back for most of her life.

Trust is her water, Faith is her garden, Flow is the key to witnessing her bloom.

The Flower of Life, the flow, the trust, the faith are grown from deep roots of self trust and self love.

Gone are the days of self loathing, self hatred, comparing and the chasing of shiny objects that bring no joy.

Flower of Life is here now to bring you a new way, a new journey, a new way of being, living and breathing.

It is time to put down new roots.

Water the Flower of Life from the inside out and watch your garden bloom.

Olivia Slater.

Artist Bio

Hi, I’m Olivia.

My artwork is intuitive and energy-driven, inspired by the colours and wonders of nature. I use art as a tool for self-expression, exploring the experiences and emotions that have shaped who I am today. I enjoy mixing colours and exploring shapes, symbols, and patterns that emerge naturally in my work.

My art journey began after the death of my husband.
Painting allows me to be free in my mind and create from the heart.
It gives me the opportunity to express feelings without words and to explore emotions in a way that words alone cannot convey.
