Look Up

Australian native gum trees, Kookaburras that are heard before they are seen. When I go for a hike in the bush I practice looking up to get perspective. The view of greens, browns contrasted with the blue sky is always beautiful.

I am a self-taught artist, taking inspiration in nature and textures and how light interacts with different mediums. Much of my work is mixed media and incorporates a level of detail that invites the observer to view the pieces again and again.
