International Bird Sanctuary

International Bird Sanctuary is one of my favourite places near Adelaide, that you can always count on if you need a peaceful, though ever changing natural environment to collect inspiration. When we moved to South Australia this place has immediately stark influence on me.

I am a self-thaught painter, that recently moved to Australia from Gibraltar, but I am originally Hungarian. My occupation is a clinical child psychologist and painting is my passion besides nature. I like to think of painting as a break away from the limitations of the everyday life, while painting I can be caught in an other dimension where, if doing it right, time can go by unnoticed. This is a magical experience similarly to spending time in nature and this is what I aim to capture in my paintings on the borders of real and imaginative landscapes.
