Resurgence

Old wrought-iron gates. Stone worn by time. A bluish dusk in which the city has almost faded away.
And through all of it — upward, unstoppable — a blazing hibiscus.
Its petals burn in red, orange, and crimson — living flame against a muted blue. The golden scrollwork of the gate echoes the gold of the stamens, as if the past and present speak the same language. Heavy stone below, free-moving leaves above — and between them, this flower that needs no permission to bloom.
This is not about what was. It is about what lives on — regardless.
