Oxana Arefin is a Brisbane-based visual artist of Russian-Ukrainian heritage. Holding degrees in both arts and psychology, she works across photography, painting, and mixed media โ weaving these disciplines into a practice that bridges the artistic and psychological. Through convex forms and layered surfaces, her work extends beyond the flat canvas into immersive, psychologically charged spaces. Her art delves into emotion, perception, and the hidden dimensions of human experience, drawing viewers into an intimate and evolving dialogue. Oxana's works are held in private collections across the USA, France, Ukraine, Russia, and New Zealand, and her photography projects have earned Honours Commendations at exhibitions in Malta, Russia, and Australia.
