Punk Pop, Cult Pop, New Pop: Original artwork from a unique series of 16 paintings. The artwork is set against vintage wallpaper and features metallic, holographic, color-changing vinyl, and fluorescent colors. The composition is bold and exciting, drawing viewers in from across the room. My focus is creating paintings that change when the viewer moves. I make paintings that change colour, reflect colour, or both. Modern technology has developed previously unknown art materials. In my paintings, new art materials such as colour-shift and holographic surfaces join forces with paint and a creative mind, ranging from extreme consideration and modified processes to unbridled artistic frenzy. New art appears. In my studio, I nurture the new art into a form that no longer needs my touch. As these paintings exit my studio into the world they stand alone and speak for themselves, heralding a new art movement.
