This painting is the 3rd on its series inspired by the red chakra 'Muladhara.' The red chakra energy relates to the feeling of belonging, being stable and grounded. Red is about survival instincts and gives us vitality, strength, and the energy to passionately change our lives.

My artwork style is an experimental proposal of pop-expressionism & intuitive art expressed by using a mixture of techniques from pouring painting to alcohol inks. These techniques let me explore the uncontrollable outcome of pouring making each piece special and unique.

The portraits that I paint tell the stories we carry, our life experiences, hopes and dreams as women, sometimes as an explosion of colour or as a delicate balance of ink with golden threads of "Saudade". We balance this weight carefully with every step that we take and that's what makes us who we are.
