Pamela Brañas started her creative work as an artist-in-residence at Redletter Press, in Melbourne creating community art and political poster commissioned work.
Her prints and posters have been exhibited, collected, and reproduced in several publications within Australia and internationally.
Pamela primarily works with oil pigment sticks on canvas and board. Her recent work covers themes relating to her experiences and relationship with the landscape and her urban surroundings. Her works in oils have been exhibited in Melbourne and Sydney where they have been successfully selected for the Mosman art prize twice and her Wynne Prize entry was selected into the ‘Salon des Refusés’, National Trust S.H. Ervin Gallery.
