Artwork Description

I tried to tell this story in my painting with the searing heat of the desert in the outback and a red rock now called Uluru. This is where the aboriginal people have a spiritual connection with their ancestors.

Artist Bio

Painting the colors of Australia I love and enjoy rugged mountains, sweeping plains, and the Crystal Sea. Plus sunset’s whose hair streaks like fire and Kangaroo’s asleep in the scorching heat. Where red dust covers everything rust hiding secrets here and there, mirages tell lies of water as sheep zig-zag down to the creek. Old homesteads and sheds lost in time, where life’s a gamble of love and dreams’.
Now that I have retired from work and my five children have grown up I have time to paint again before it was impossible. I won art prizes as a teenager and had a large exhibition of 300 paintings.
I use to paint in oils but now most of my paintings are acrylic now because the paint dry’s quicker. My style is mostly traditional with a lot of detail and imagination.
