I've been told that experiencing my art gives a feeling of peace, calm and tranquillity. My art is considered an Australian impressionist. At least that's what Petter Bates a teaching artists from Austinmer told me. I'll always be grateful to Peter for helping me to fall in love with painting in oils. The peace and calm and tranquillity of my work also works on me. Like many artists, the very act of painting is a wonderful stress release as I watch the colours blend and flow.
I have won 1st prize and two 2 prizes at the Bulli Show
I am president of the Illawarra Arts Society Inc and have done many exhibitions and selling with them
I have done many workshops and classes in pastels, watercolour, pen and wash, acrylics in landscapes, seascapes, portraits, cityscapes
I am looking forward to extending my art career
