Blue World

The blue tones in this artwork show different depths of the ocean, from the deep blue sea to a calmer world that we can look at but not access. The desire to find a world like the deep blue see is the expression of this artwork. The different shades of blue represent the different emotions that we feel when looking at the ocean, from the calmness of the shallows to the deep longing for something that we can never reach.

I am Pascal Gabor Vida, born in 1986 in Germany, the first born of 3 children. I grow up in Hamburg, Germany and moved to Australia in 2017 when I was 30.
My entire life, art is a part of it and through my parents and grandparents, I experienced how life as an artist is embracing the way to see the world and discovering new paths to live in it.
That's the way I would describe my art and what my work means, as the opportunity to define the journey of how to live and how life is changing us and our perception of it.
The way how my life got shaped through so many different people and events is what my process describes the best and how I start my paintings with the ambition to evolve and change the outcome during the painting process until the last brushstroke.
